That’s Why God Created Clorox Wipes

This short tale is called : The Day My Son Lost His Darn Mind

Also could be called, “For Realz, C?” or “That’s Why God Created Clorox Wipes”

When the boys come home from school, there is an immediate need for toilet use. I totally get it. My sweet, sweet, second child, headed upstairs to take care of business….next thing I know, he’s tearfully coming downstairs, while his dear 5 year old hands lovingly touch every banister, wall, and speck of space on the way down.

“C, why are you crying?”

“Because you’re gonna be mad. But don’t worry, I fixed the problem.”

Nothing strikes fear in the heart of parents like, “Because you’re gonna be mad,” followed by, “Don’t worry, I fixed it.”

To make a long story short, apparently he decided to buck Kerst boy tradition, and instead of using the allotted four squares for toilet usage, he went all out, rebelled, and used 500 (ok, maybe not 500, but you get the point). After trying to flush the toilet, he panicked (the evidence! the evidence wasn’t going down!), and decided to solve the problem by reaching in and pulling all the used toilet paper BACK OUT and placing it in a nearby trash receptacle. At this point, he decided NOW would be the best time to tell me….

If you want to know how many Clorox wipes were used in the aftermath of this debacle, I lost count. It was probably safer to just go ahead, move, and burn the house down.

The End.
